Passion Fruit Juice

Passion Fruit Juice

I know, I haven't blogged for a while. I have mainly been busy travelling and recuperating from a jetlag. But also from planning for some blogposts, so don't worry... I have some things coming up for you all!

So I went to Vietnam. I will be posting more about this country, but I wanted to share a great recipe for a yummy home-made juice with you. I first had one of these in Hoi An, a small village in the center of Vietnam where we spent a very relaxing 5 days. We had this juice in a small Vietnamese "café" or snack-type restaurant. It was so good we would trek around town in the heavy heat and purposefully pass by this café to have this refreshing and reviving juice.

It is very easy to make and very original to serve. You can have it with breakfast or brunch or just as an afternoon Summery drink. Refreshing and full of vitamins!

WHAT DO YOU NEED? (for 2 people)

  • 3 passion fruit
  • 5 oranges
  • some ice cubes
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar or a couple of drops of Stevia

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

  • Very simple really: juice the oranges, add the passion fruit seeds to the orange juice and the sugar or stevia. Give it a good stir and leave to rest in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes. This will allow for the flavours to come together. This way, the juice will really adapt the passion fruit taste.
  • Serve it in a nice glass with some ice cubes and a pretty straw.

*Soon to come: a small blogpost on my trip to Vietnam!
