Cream cheese apéritif: 3 easy appetisers

Cream cheese apéritif: 3 easy appetisers

As you might have seen on my Instagram stories, I was sent a beautiful basket of cream cheeses by St Môret. I was asked to create an apéritif moment to celebrate the match of the Red Devils in Russia.

Even though I am not a huge football fan, I do like a good apéritif so I was definitely up for the challenge!

Three different cream cheese appetisers that are fresh and easy to make. I wanted to avoid getting loads of different ingredients and prefer to keep it simple so you can make these last minute with mostly pantry ingredients.

If you’re looking for more appetizers, you’re welcome to browse here.

Radish and cream cheese appetiser

  • radishes, sliced

  • St Môret cream cheese

  • spring onions, sliced

  • toasted bread, cut into finger food size

  • sea salt

  • pepper

Simply smear some cream cheese on each piece of toast. Then top with radish slices and spring onions and sprinkle with salt & pepper. Add some dried herbs to it such as oregano or maybe even some chili to give it some extra punch.

Tomato and basil cream cheese appetiser

  • cherry tomatoes, sliced

  • whipped "mousse" St Môret cream cheese

  • basil, shredded in smaller pieces

  • salt & pepper

  • olive oil

  • balsamic vinegar

  • seed crackers, broken into finger food size pieces

Spread some St Môret mousse on each piece of cracker. I used the natural one but you're welcome to try it with the chives version as well. Add the slices of tomatoes in a bowl with some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper and leave for a couple of minutes. Top the crackers some of these sliced cherry tomatoes and finish off with some fresh basil.

St Môret fig cream cheese balls with dried ham.

Just get your favourite dried ham like ganda or serrano, roll up a piece and stick it to a tooth pick with one of the cheese balls. Great sweet and savoury flavour combination ^^

These three super simple finger foods are quick to prepare and give you the time for you to get ready for the match, mentally of course ;) OR they are also great for a summery outdoors  moment with your friends and a c/mocktail!
